PREO*PRIX

I just post a lot of fanart, but there's some original characters in here... I think.

I haven’t had much time to draw this week due to homework and studying for tests, but I did manage a really quick drawing of my “for show only” team (basically just for art purposes haha). Sort of a run-on joke with myself for always being so static-y and also every electronic device never staying charged for long.
My real team in X consists of Flygon, Greninja, Blissey, Volcarona, Deoxys and Ampharos (or Heliolisk). But that’s boring. And I like electric types a lot. |:D

Commission for Ang! (I had to wait a while to post this up since it was a birthday present, but it’s safe to post it up now haha. :D)

I had the urge to draw my favorite Pokémon this week, but then I realized I have way too many! And a lot of categories for my favorites too!

So, favorite Pokémon from each generation then! And a bonus “least favorite” category. |:D Forcing myself to draw the ones I don’t really like…

(Also bonus fact, my newest member of my team in X is a Helioptile that I named “Bill Cipher”. HAHAHAHA WORTH IT)

Speedpaint of Mega Rayquaza I did earlier! I love the design, but EEESH it’s really difficult to draw haha.

Whoops my hand slipped. (Actually this was going to be a small animation but I fizzled out.) The text is just my rambling haha.
Also tossing around some Iolaria concepts! There’s many versions of Iolaria: a virus/disease form, the crystal-like features on Noisulli, a nanotechnology form and a whole species of Iolarians. All of these are capable of using a Noisulli has a host. And I’m working on some initial symptoms Noisulli would have getting inflicted with the virus version of it. They’d become somewhat blind and able to only see blurry lights and shadows before other phases of Iolaria kick in. Bloody nose is not one of the symptoms. (albeit it’s fun to draw)

Fun fact, Noisulli have nostrils that I suddenly decided on just now haha. They’re located where their bridge of the nose markings end, and are small slits that aren’t really noticeable unless bloody nose or whatever blah blah blah.
Also total excuse to draw Ranul emotional and bloody and possessed. Shut up.

Literally every doodle in my notebooks right now is something along the lines of these two being cutesy. |:DI might digitally draw up more of them later, but I only have this quick sketch for now! Odd pose haha <3
Drawing Radec’s tail all foofed up is really amusing, I like drawing these two bird-like, and I also call them my “lovebirds” haahaha. <3

Small sketch from today! It was for height reference initially but Etinifni is suppose to be a bit taller than that. So, just a doodle of my protagonists/antagonists! (*perpetually draws Muinnellim’s profile only*)
I also realized… I forgot to color in Ranul’s markings on his head AND forgot to color the whites of his eyes. Kinda looks unnerving. :T

illogical-fantasy asked:

I feel so dumb for only just now realising your OCs' names are words backwards!

Yeah that’s wonderful 15-16 year old me thinking that was the cooliest thing ever. And now I’m way too sentimental over it to change it haha. :’D

(Even better the Noisulli language is called Esrever, which is…. “reverse” backwards. Heck even the species name is “Illusion” backwards too!)

shiroroos asked:

wow!! your OC look so awesome will you do a comic about them??

(Posting this publicly since it’s gotten asked a lot recently! @U@ <3)

Aww, first off thank you!!
I wish I could! I mean I won’t say I’ll never do it, because it’s a huge dream of mine to have at least a fully written story about them, but….
At this point I have half of the prologue sorta written (which is already really involved even in bulleted list format haha) and a tiiiiny portion of the overall main story. The rest is just basically character development and world building haha.

I’m stuck with not knowing how to actually SOLVE the problem, like…. how do you make a basically sterile species become not reliant on cloning technology for population growth, how do you reverse genetic mutation, and how do you get rid of rouge nanotechnology that’s become a whole species on its own… also how do I make sure it’s an original ending hahahahaaa.

Just by this lengthy reply alone says it all. It’s really, really involved and not really a one person job or easy to translate into a graphic novel and I dug myself into a hole with it, BUT YEAH MAYBE SOMEDAY I’LL ATTEMPT A COMIC/STORY. <3

Unfinished eye color reference drawing, doodle I drew to Muse’s “Big Freeze” (I adore that sooong) and a really stupid sketch that shows how little I know anatomy hahahaha.

I’m still really fond of the markings Ranul and Ralos used to have on their chest in their original designs back in 2008, I’m trying to keep it for nostalgia reasons!
Also forgot to add in that Ranul’s thin golden vein-like markings are created from the Iolaria virus. It distributes either in fan/crystal-like organic forms or in fractal/geometric-like artificial forms. Still working out the details! @u@

I wrote this last night, however I deleted it within minutes because I was like… rambling on about how I spent my last week of break basically drowning myself in everything Gravity Falls related. And I got embarrassed hahaha. |:D

BUT! I’m on semi-hiatus until around the second week of December, when Fall quarter ends for me! “Semi-hiatus” because I’ll try to post up sketches and speedpaints and stuff so it’s not a total deadzone here!

But be warned I’m going to be really busy so don’t expect much out of me for a while. @m@;;

"Why are we in here?"
A project I attempted to do a while ago, this was suppose to be a fairly long partially animated video I was going to do to the whole three part song, Exogenesis: Symphony, by Muse. But I’m not going to have enough time for it, and I don’t have enough ideas for it! But regardless, I hadn’t realized those three songs were so good up until recently!
Long storyline rambling, bear with me here hahaha.

While four out of the five Creators/world leaders each generation guide the world into another supposed “peaceful era”, the first in command Creators have alternate motives in keeping the race below its potential, as it is the only way the race can survive and keep going, through Muinnellim.
First Creators keep Iolaria nanotechnology (AKA: Muinnellim) activated and provide it Noisulli corpses and failed clones to sustain it. Creators also purposely keep traces of Iolaria inside the Noisulli during cloning to continually provide energy to Muinnellim during their lives, as it needs a massive amount of energy to survive. This in return transfers all energy Noisulli need to grow towards the nanotechnology in them, causing the race to become physically weaker and smaller overtime. Iolaria also leaves poisonous residue inside their bodies that builds up through generations and cannot be physically handled or removed.
Muinnellim demands that it lives only in the planet’s artificial sun and shield surrounding the planet that it created itself, as it provides enough space for it to create spawns of itself to devour to also help it stay powered up.
These chain of events provide infinite energy to power the artificial sun and all their technology up and keeps the Noisulli alive, only to be fed to Muinnellim when they die. The more the Noisulli advance technology-wise, the worst they become physically due to the extra energy needed by Muinnellim. If Noisulli were to take down the shield to attempt to get rid of Muinnellim and the Iolaria, they would die from freezing to death from their real shrinking dying sun that was attacked by Iolaria generations ago.
